As the host, you can cancel or reschedule any meeting on your calendar, including past meetings. Free past meetings can be cancelled, but paid past meetings cannot.
Make sure you're logged in to NeetoCal before cancelling or rescheduling. If you're logged out, NeetoCal treats you as the customer, so you'll see the options available to the customer based on the cancellation and rescheduling rules for that scheduling link.
To cancel a meeting
Go to the Bookings tab from the left sidebar.
Select the Upcoming or Past tab, and click on the meeting you want to cancel.
In the right-side panel, click Cancel.
In the cancellation modal, provide a reason for cancelling.
Paid past meetings cannot be cancelled.
Meeting cancelled via calendar
If a meeting is declined or deleted from Google or Outlook, it will also be cancelled in NeetoCal, and the cancellation reason will show that the meeting was declined or deleted in the calendar. However, if a meeting is cancelled from iCloud, it will not sync with NeetoCal. To make sure the cancellation is recorded correctly, it is best to cancel the meeting directly from NeetoCal.
To reschedule a meeting
You can reschedule both upcoming and past meetings. If a reschedule link does not give you the options below, check that you are logged in to NeetoCal.
Open the Bookings tab from the left sidebar.
Choose Upcoming or Past and select the meeting you want to reschedule.
On the right side, click Reschedule. You’ll be taken to the calendar page to pick a new time, and you can also add a note for the reschedule if you’d like.
If you are not sure about the other person’s availability, you can click Request to Reschedule, and NeetoCal will send them an email so they can choose a new time.
Lead time is bypassed for host during rescheduling
The lead time is bypassed for hosts because its main purpose is to ensure you have enough notice to prepare for a meeting. Since you are the one rescheduling, you already have the necessary context and have decided you are ready to meet. Removing this restriction gives you full control to move meetings whenever you need without being blocked by lead time meant for clients.
Example: You can reschedule a meeting to the next hour. If a client reschedules a meeting, lead time will still be enforced and work as expected.
Meeting rescheduled via calendar
If you drag a booked meeting to a new time in Google Calendar or Outlook, NeetoCal moves the booking to that time for you. The client is notified just as they are for a reschedule made in NeetoCal, and the booking timeline records the change as "Rescheduled by <host> in Google Calendar from <old time> to <new time>".
If you also change the length of the event while moving it, NeetoCal takes the new end time as well. A move to a time outside your availability is still applied, because you made the change yourself.
Some changes in the calendar are not applied to the booking:
A move to a time in the past.
A change to the length of the event alone, without moving its start time.
Turning the event into an all-day event.
Events for group sessions.
Events you have declined or cancelled, which are handled as cancellations instead.
Rescheduling from iCloud does not sync with NeetoCal, so move those meetings from NeetoCal itself.
