How can we help?

Connect Meta Pixel

NeetoCal supports Meta Pixel. Once connected, page views from your public scheduling pages flow to your Meta Pixel.

You can also send booking events, which report every step a client takes on the way to booking: the link being opened, a slot picked, details filled in, payment submitted and the booking completed. That is what lets Meta optimise your ads against completed bookings rather than visits, and shows you how much revenue each scheduling link brings in.

Connecting Meta Pixel

  1. Visit Admin panel.

  2. Click on Other Integrations.

  3. Click on Meta Pixel.

  4. Paste your Pixel ID and click Connect. If you embed your scheduling links, paste the Pixel ID your website already uses.

  5. Leave Send booking events to Meta on so Meta sees where your clients drop off on the way to booking. Turn it off if you want page views only.

  6. If you embed your scheduling links to your website check the steps under If your scheduling links or intro pages are embedded.

Booking events are on by default, so a pixel starts reporting the whole booking funnel as soon as you connect it. See Send booking events to Meta Pixel for what gets tracked, how to turn it off, and how to send the client’s details along with it.

The pixel you connect in the Admin panel covers every scheduling link and intro page you have. You can also connect one to a single scheduling link or intro page, for example to send one link’s bookings to a client’s own pixel.

  1. Go to Scheduling links or Intro pages from the left sidebar.

  2. Open the one you want to track.

  3. On a scheduling link, open Integrations in the settings sidebar and click on Meta Pixel. On an intro page, click on Meta Pixel in the settings sidebar itself.

  4. Paste your Pixel ID and click Connect.

  5. Leave Send booking events to Meta on, which it is by default here too.

A pixel here is additional to the one in your Admin panel, not instead of it. If both are connected, both receive the events, so it has to be a different pixel: NeetoCal will not accept your workspace Pixel ID here, or a link’s Pixel ID on the workspace, because one pixel receiving the same booking twice would double-count it.

An intro page’s pixel covers that page alone. The booking itself happens on a scheduling link, and the pixel does not follow the client there, so connect one to the links as well if you want the whole journey.

Checking that it is working

  1. In Meta Events Manager, open your pixel and go to Test events.

  2. Keep that screen open, and in a different browser or an incognito window open one of your scheduling links.

  3. Your visit should appear as a PageView within a few seconds.

The other reports in Events Manager take a few minutes to fill in, so use Test events to confirm the connection rather than waiting for them.

If you embed your scheduling links

Bookings made inside an embed are recorded by the Meta Pixel on your own website, not by the one NeetoCal loads. Paste that same Pixel ID here, so embedded and direct bookings end up in one place. See Capturing booking events from embedded scheduling links.

Finding your Pixel ID

Your Pixel ID is a 15 or 16 digit number and belongs to a pixel inside your Meta Business account.

  1. Open https://business.facebook.com/events_manager and click Data sources.

  2. Select the pixel you want to use.

  3. Copy the ID shown under the pixel’s name.

Now paste it into NeetoCal, following Connecting Meta Pixel.

Creating a Meta Pixel

Skip this section if you already have a Meta Pixel.

  • Visit https://business.facebook.com/events_manager and click Connect data source, then choose Web.

  • Give the pixel a name. You can keep it as your workspace name.

  • When asked how to connect your website, choose the Meta Pixel option. NeetoCal loads the pixel for you, so there is no code to install.

  • When asked for your website, provide your main NeetoCal link without a slug. For example, if your subdomain is spinkart, enter https://spinkart.neetocal.com

Your pixel now exists. Follow Finding your Pixel ID to copy its ID, then paste it into NeetoCal.
