Custom domains

NeetoCal's custom domain feature allows you to personalize your booking links by using your own domain.

Without a custom domain:

https://yourbusiness.neetocal.com/calendar

With a custom domain:

https://calendar.yourbusiness.com

Here are the steps to setup custom domains:

1. Validate your domain

   • After adding the custom domain, you will be asked to add a CNAME record for your domain. This step is necessary to provision an SSL certificate for your domain.

   • Add Domain validation CNAME record in your DNS settings. Please disable the proxy for this CNAME record. Otherwise, our service will fail to validate your domain.

   • After adding the CNAME record, click the Validate domain button.

2. Add CNAME for redirection

   • After validating your domain, you will be asked to add another CNAME record, redirecting the custom domain to our server.

   • Once you've added the second CNAME record, please click on I've added the CNAME records to finalize the procedure.

FAQ

How long does it take for the custom domain to be active?

DNS changes can take up to 24-48 hours to fully propagate, though it's often much quicker.

Can I switch back to the default NeetoCal domain?

Yes, you can revert to the default NeetoCal domain at any time from the Custom Domains section in settings.

Can I use a subdomain for my custom domain?

Yes, using subdomains like schedule.yourbusiness.com is highly recommended for maintaining clarity and separating your booking page from the rest of your website.
