If your scheduling link is publicly available, anyone can schedule the meeting with you. This can lead to unwanted meetings and clutter your calendar. For example, clients might book meetings without a clear purpose or pitch services or products you don't need. To prevent this and protect your time, you can use Require approval feature. This allows you to approve or reject the bookings before they are confirmed.
Enabling require approval
Click on the scheduling link for which you want to set approval.
Click on the Settings tab.
Click on Require approval card.
Enable Require approval.
Once enabled, the host and the client will receive an email notifying them as Awaiting Approval and Meeting requested respectively. Until the host approves or rejects the meeting, no other clients can book that slot. That slot will be reserved and will appear in the Approval required tab.
Note: Approvals can't be enabled for meetings that have payments enabled. Similarly, payments can't be enabled for the meetings that required approval.
