How to add DNS record in Namecheap

Adding CNAME record for a domain with subdomain

1. In this case your custom domain will look like calender.yourbusiness.com

2. Log in to your Namecheap dashboard and go to Domain List

3. Click on Manage button for your domain in the list

4. Go to Advanced DNS

5. Click on Add record

6. Select CNAME as the Type

7. Copy the values from the custom domain page and add

8. Click ✅ button

Adding ALIAS record for a root domain

1. In this case your custom domain will look like yourbusiness.com

2. Log in to your Namecheap dashboard and go to Domain List

3. Click on Manage button for your domain in the list

4. Go to Advanced DNS

5. Click on Add record

6. Select ALIAS as the Type

7. Copy the values from the custom domain page and add

8. Click ✅ button
