The Popular Channel Report helps you identify which marketing or distribution channel brings in the most bookings. It works by tracking the custom parameter (like source
, from
, etc.) added to your NeetoCal scheduling links.
This feature is especially useful for teams running campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, or email newsletters.
What is a “Source” in Popular channels report
In Popular channel report, source is a key-value pair added to the end of your scheduling link. For example:
https://example.neetocal.com/john-smith?source=LinkedIn
Here
source
is the keyLinkedIn
is the value
Every time a booking happens through a link like this, NeetoCal records the source. These values are then displayed in the Popular Channel Report.
Set Up the Source for tracking popular channels
Go to the Reports tab in your NeetoCal workspace.
You’ll see a new report titled Popular Channels.
If no source is configured yet, you'll see a message:
“Set a source for your scheduling link and check from which channel you are getting most bookings.”
Click on the Configure Source button.
A side pane will appear asking you to set a key.
By default, the key is set as
source
, but you can rename it to anything likefrom
,ref
, orcampaign
. Example:?from=Instagram
or?ref=EmailCampaign
Save your changes to track your sources based on that key.
How report will be generated
Once the key is configured you can add that key and its value in your scheduling links.
NeetoCal will track every booking made using links that include the key (e.g.,
?source=LinkedIn
).The Popular Channel Report will show the values (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and the number of bookings from each.
For example:
Source |
Bookings |
---|---|
23 |
|
12 |
|
7 |
