How to add DNS record in your DNS provider

Adding DNS record in a DNS provider

1. Login to your DNS name server

2. Select the domain and go to the DNS record section

3. Copy the values from the custom domain page and add a new record

4. If you are using a domain with a subdomain, then the record type will be CNAME in most of the name servers

5. If you are using the root domain as the custom domain, then the record type changes depending on your name server

   • CNAME at Cloudflare

   • ALIAS at Namecheap

   • ANAME at easyDNS

   • ALIAS at PointDNS

   • ANAME at DNS Made Easy

   • ALIAS at DreamHost

   • ALIAS at DNSimple
