When recurring meetings are enabled on a scheduling link, by default clients can book upto 20 meetings in a single booking. With this feature, you can control the minimum and maximum number of meetings a client is allowed to book in a single recurring booking.
This is useful when you sell a fixed number of meetings — for example, a 5-week coaching programme, a 6-session guitar package, or a fitness plan that runs for a set number of weeks.
Setting the maximum and minimum
Click on you scheduling link.
Go to Settings > Recurring Meetings.
Make sure Recurring meetings is enabled.
Under Limit number of meetings your clients can book, set the Min and Max values using the number pickers.
Click Save changes.
The Min value is the least number of meetings a client must book, and the Max is the most they are allowed to book.
Note: The minimum number of meetings you can set is 1, and the maximum is 20.
Requiring an exact number of meetings
If you want every client to book a fixed number of meetings — no more, no less — set the Min and Max to the same value. For example, if you run a 6-week programme, setting both to 6 means every client who books through that scheduling link must book exactly 6 meetings.
How the limit appears to clients
Depending on the Min and Max values you set, clients will see different messaging during the booking process.
Min is 1 and Max is 8 — the client is asked whether they want to make this a recurring meeting. If they select Yes, they can choose to book anywhere between 1 and 8 meetings.
Min is 3 and Max is 5 — since a minimum greater than 1 is set, we don't ask the client whether they want a recurring meeting. Instead, we show an information banner at the top of the booking page that reads: "This is a recurring meeting. You need to book 3 to 5 meetings" The client can then choose any number of meetings within that range.
Min and Max are the same, say both are 5 — the client must book exactly that many meetings. We show them: "This is a recurring meeting. You need to book exactly 5 meetings"
