Calendar invites

The calendar invites sent to the host and client depend on whether the host has integrated Google Calendar.

Host has integrated Google Calendar with NeetoCal

In this case, when a client books a meeting, NeetoCal creates a calendar event in the host's Google Calendar. The client is added as a participating member.

Host has not integrated Google Calendar with NeetoCal

In this case, when a client books a meeting, NeetoCal sends a confirmation email to both the host and the client. Since the host has not connected their calendar, NeetoCal cannot add the meeting to the host’s calendar.

Client uses Gmail

If the host has integrated Google calendar with NeetoCal and if the client is using Gmail, the event is added to the client's calendar automatically.

Client does not use Gmail

If the host has integrated Google calendar with NeetoCal and if the client is not using Gmail, the event is not added to the client's calendar automatically.

After booking, the client is shown an Add to calendar link on the booking confirmation screen. The client can use this link to manually add the meeting to their preferred calendar.
