How does Neetocal check sync on your Google Calendar?
When Google Calendar event is created, it automatically updates in Neetocal. Neetocal gets a signal (called a 'webhook') from Google. In rare cases, Google might miss sending this signal. Therefore, Neetocal also checks for reliability updates every five hours. You can also manually re-sync calendars from Admin panel.

On the event details pop-up, click on the edit icon.
Change your availability by clicking the option set as free and changing it to busy.

Finally, ensure that you set your availability to busy when creating new manual events.
