The Start Time Increment setting lets you control how far apart your available appointment slots appear. You can choose intervals such as 3, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes, depending on how flexible or structured you want your schedule to be. In NeetoCal, the minimum interval you can set is 3 minutes.
This setting controls how often available time slots appear for booking. For instance, if the start time increment is set to 30 minutes and your availability is from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the slots will be displayed as:
9:00 – 9:30
9:30 – 10:00
10:00 – 10:30
10:30 – 11:00
This helps structure your calendar and avoid back-to-back meetings without enough buffer time.
For example, a health department offering COVID-19 vaccination appointments through an online booking system wants to provide users with more flexible options. To achieve this, they set the Start Time Increment to 10 minutes.
As a result, with availability from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, users will see booking slots like:
9:00 AM
9:10 AM
9:20 AM
9:30 AM
9:40 AM
...and so on.
This kind of flexibility allows clients to choose a time slot that works best for their schedule.
