A one-off group event is a single, fixed-time group session. For example, a webinar, workshop, training, or Q&A session, that is planned on a specific date and time.
Unlike regular scheduling links that show multiple available time slots, a one-off group event lets you share just one fixed slot where multiple people can register and join together.
You can easily create a one-off group event (like a webinar or workshop) for a specific date and time in NeetoCal using existing settings, without showing multiple time slots.
Step 1: Create a new group meeting link
Go to your NeetoCal dashboard and click Add new scheduling link.
Choose Group meeting as the type.
Give your event a name, such as “Group Webinar”.
Under Maximum group size per slot, enter how many participants you want to allow (e.g., 5, 10, 25, or a custom number).
Set the meeting duration (for example, 2 or 3 hours).
Click Create event.
Step 2: Set your event date and time
In the Where tab, go to Meeting date range and select Within a date range.
Set both the start and end date to your event date (e.g., October 8).
Choose your lead time, the minimum notice before someone can book (e.g., 2 hours). You can also set it to 0 minutes if you want to allow last-minute bookings.
Under Start time increment, set the same duration as your webinar (e.g., if your webinar is 3 hours, set increment to 3 hours). This ensures only one slot will appear for booking.
Choose the meeting mode (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) and click Save.
Step 3: Create custom availability for the webinar
By default, your general working hours will make multiple slots appear.
To restrict bookings to your webinar time only:
Go to the Availability tab.
Click Add new availability.
Name it something like “Availability for Webinar.”
Select the day of the webinar (e.g., Wednesday).
Add the exact time of your event (e.g., 12 PM to 3 PM).
Click Save.
Step 4: Assign this custom availability to your event
Go back to your Group Webinar scheduling link.
Open the Host tab.
Select yourself as the host.
Click Change availability and choose the one you just created , “Availability for Webinar.”
Save changes.
Step 5: Preview your booking page
When you open the live link, you’ll now see only one slot available, for your selected date and time (e.g., October 8, 12:00 PM).
The page will show how many spots remain (e.g., 50 spots left).
No other time slots will appear.
Share that scheduling page URL with your clients.
Now, participants will only be able to book the specific date and time you’ve set, perfect for webinars, workshops, or any fixed-time group session.
Even after following these steps if you do not see the expected group event slot then please troubleshoot to check what's an issue. Most probable reason could be any existing event in your calendar that is conflicting with group event.
